City Business Networking is an opportunity for entrepreneurs with a niche market to build a network of qualitative connections.

The aim is to provide high quality business networking by carefully selecting business owners and decision makers from a variety of industries.

Many of those who attend events are business people who come across CBN social media campaigns and the EVENTBRITE page.

type of events, when and where

Networking lunches take place once a month in the city of London at 12:30 to 14:30.

events format

The events format is simple: for lunch events guests buy their own drinks, we’ll offer some complimentary canapés and everyone enjoys open networking.

We have a speaker who will share some expert advice for about 3 minutes. If the event takes place in an office, we’ll accommodate a format requested by the sponsors of the event.

membership and guest list

There is no membership but when guests attend at least one event, they are free to fill in the directory form in The Hub.

Any information submitted will be published in the directory section, which is password protected.

Guests are given the password to gain immediate access to the guest list and guest details.

following up after an event

We feel very strongly about spamming because it is counterproductive and discourages professionals from contacting you or referring potential clients to you.

The best practice after an event is to contact only those you’ve spoken to and follow up with a coffee, drink or lunch catch up.

Of course it is important to get in touch with those you’ve met, with a brief summary and links to your services.

But please don’t send generic emails to everyone on our members section.
